The Data Science minor is designed for students majoring in other disciplines who want a significant data science component in their education. The minor requires one semester of programming and an additional 15 credits of statistics, computer science and data analytic coursework. A final course may be selected from statistics (Statistical Computing and Exploratory Data Analysis or Statistical Learning and Data Science II) or computer science (Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning). Completing the minor requires a total of 21 additional credits.
