Introduction to Programming

3 Cr. (Hrs.:3 Lec.)

An introduction to problem-solving methods and programming techniques in a programming language. The student will learn to use a programming language to construct efficient and easy to understand programs. (On Dem.)

Course generally offered as a dual enrollment course to high school students for college credit.

Course Outcomes:

R1. Familiar with programming concepts and methods common to all computer languages.

R2. Can transfer these fundamental programming skills to other programming languages.

R3. Understand how to design simple applications.

R4. Understand control structures, functions/procedures, arrays, classes and objects.
