Twenty $4000 scholarships to study computer science and/or software engineering at Montana Tech will be awarded to students completing the first six modules in the CodeHS online curriculum. Montana high school students can access the curriculum for free by joining the CodeMontana Program. High school students outside of Montana are eligible for the scholarship, but need to join CodeHS as an individual (use course code A63A) if their high school is not using the CodeHS curriculum. If a student is taking an Advanced Placement(AP) Computer Science course in their high school and scores a 4 or 5 on the AP Computer Science exam, we will accept that as a substitute for completing the CodeMontana curriculum.
